Warm filtered water is infused into the colon to clear waste and toxins. Excellent for conditions such as IBS, bloating and constipation. This treatment is relaxing and often relieving and kick starts a detox programme. We also offer additional enemas: coffee, herbal and probiotic implant.
Therapeutic Massage is a combination of Relaxation Massage and Remedial Massage to not only relax your whole body but at the same time, work through some of the muscle issues or “tight spots” you may be experiencing. It may also improve your circulation and helps remove waste products or reduce swelling. These circulatory effects of massage may have value in the treatment of some inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis. Massage therapy induces a relaxation response, which lowers your heart rate, breathing rate, and blood pressure; plus boosts your immune system; and generally decreases the physical effects of stress.
A poultice is a paste made of herbs, plants, or other substances with healing properties. The paste is spread on a warm, moist cloth and applied to the body to relieve inflammation, infections, growths and promote healing. Some can be spread directly on the skin.
Compresses & Fomentations
Hot, cold or neutral heat is applied skilfully to the body. It helps to reduce inflammation and supplies heat or cold to a body part or the whole torso.
Steam baths are excellent for encouraging sweating, raising the body core temperature and promoting circulation. The bath is always followed by immersion in neutral or cold water.
Topical applications wrapped to some or all of the body, to promote circulation, aid in healing, drawing out toxins, or relaxing the nerves. These include wet sheet wraps, hot towel wraps, bi-carb wraps, clay wraps, and castor oil wraps.
Application of moist salt rubbed onto skin, to promote good blood circulation, skin exfoliation, and to draw out impurities. Most enjoy this as an invigorating and energising experience
Varied assortment of therapies, utilising the skilful application of water through tried and tested methods. These range from spa baths, contrast showers, facial steams, cold mitten friction, and much more. Effective in boosting the immune system and circulation.

Vital signs and body chemistry analysis is undertaken, discussed with health guest and Lifestyle Protocol is written. This is tailored to health conditions and sets out an hour-by-hour and day-by-day programme to help improve health.
Having positive emotions and maintaining low stress levels is a very important part of the healing process. Ongoing support also enables people to maintain the good health practises started on the programme and to achieve other goals. This effective coaching is delivered through our LJH coaching sessions.
